Throughout his football career, Yekta has played in the Canadian Soccer League, representing clubs such as North York Astros, Serbian White Eagles, and Milltown FC. He also played at the collegiate level for George Brown College while pursuing his studies.
He has also gained national team experience with the Turkey Futsal National Team.
He currently serves as the Sporting Director of Toronto Bulls Soccer Club and the Sporting Director of Galatasaray Soccer School Canada. He previously held the position of Sporting Director at North York Astros within the Canadian Soccer League.
He is actively involved in player development, youth programs, and the organization of professional training systems, as well as international football camps.
Yekta is known for his strong network between Canada and Turkey, combining sports and cultural initiatives to create impactful and sustainable projects.
